2007-2008 Recruiting Packages

We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to become a Sponsor of the San Jose State University Career Center by purchasing a Spartan Recruiting Package.

The sponsorship packages provide services which incorporate many of the events in which you may already participate.  The packages will better meet your company’s recruiting budget cycle and provide you with a strategic approach to recruiting at San Jose State University.  Our Employer Sponsorship Program allows you to enjoy “elite” recruiting services and will increase your visibility on our campus.

Employer support of our programs and events is essential to the successful operation of the Center and to the success of our students.  These sponsorships are an annual opportunity.  Therefore, all of the benefits will continue for one academic year.

• Advance invitations to all Career Center Fairs.
  Unlimited attendance at all Career Center sponsored fairs for one academic year with prime    booth location and special signage at the event. Staff your area with up to eight (8) representatives. Representatives will be identified by a special nametag and ribbon.
• On-Campus Interview opportunities.  Schedule your student interviews via our on-line scheduling program.
• Consultation with the Career Center Employer Relations Coordinator to determine your most effective recruiting strategy at SJSU.
• Complimentary Employer Recruiting Tables.
• Complimentary Information Sessions to showcase your organization.  Fee waived for meeting room and predetermined catering menu. (Catering for 25 (Pizzas, cookies, and soft drinks/water)
• Featured employer for 1 year on Career Center homepage with hyperlink from our website to your company’s website.
  Invitation to participate in special student education events i.e. Mock Interviews, Resume Critiques, and Job Search Strategies programs.
• Featured “Employer of the Month ” – one time per semester.
• Consultation with SpartaJOBS Specialist on best practices for filling open reqs.
• Faculty and student organization contacts
• Recognition in our Job & Internship Guide.
• Employer Spotlight Participant.
• Access to customized resume publications of registered students.
• Complimentary Parking Permits
• Sponsorship Plaque in the Career Center honoring sponsoring organizations commitment and strong relationship with this department.

• Attendance at four (4) Career Center sponsored job fairs for one academic year with prime booth location and special signage at the event. Staff your area with up to six (6) representatives. Representatives will be identified by a special nametag and ribbon.
• Information Sessions to showcase your organization.  Fee waived for meeting room and predetermined catering menu. (Catering for 25 (Pizzas, cookies, and soft drinks/water) (1 session per academic year.)
• Complimentary Employer Recruiting Tables. (1 table per semester)
• Featured employer for 1 year on the Career Center homepage with hyperlink from ourwebsite to your company’s website.

Companies who support us by sponsoring our Fairs receive:

• Attendance at Career Center sponsored job fairs for one academic year with prime       booth location at the event.
• Extra promotional marketing exposure on our website and targeted communication to our students and campus community as a Career Fair Sponsor.
• Recognition at event to include:
  Prime location for your table and special signage at the event to acknowledgement job fair sponsorship.
  
  Two six-foot tables.
  10ft. x 10ft. free-standing display can be used.  Other employers limited to
  tabletop displays only.
  Staff your area with up to 4 representatives.
  Special nametag and ribbon for each representative.
• On campus interview opportunities. Schedule your student interviews via our on-line scheduling program.
• Two (2) complimentary Parking Permits per academic year.
• Recognition in our Job & Internship Guide.

Spartan Champion

Enhance your visibility and promote your organization on campus by becoming a Spartan Champion.  Our Champions can support our campus community by:

• In Kind Gifts: Donation of computers, office equipment, Career Lab. resources, shirt sponsorship, promotional gifts (gift certificates, products, etc.) to be given to students to support Career Center programs.  Acknowledgement plaque to be placed on all equipment donations.

Spartan Program Partners

• Company logo as screen saver in the Career Center Resources Lab – Placed on eleven (11) computers. $1,000.00 for one academic year.
• Sponsor an Educational On-Line Video: Resume Writing, Interviewing, Internships, etc. - $1,000.00 for one academic year.
• Sponsor a Career Center Publication or Handout:  Examples: Career Center Calendar, Major Sheets, Resume Handouts, etc.  Program partners can partner with the Career Center to offset printing costs.   $500.00
