Eligibility
To qualify for the SJSU WorkAbility IV Program, you must be:
- Registered as a consumer with the California State Department of Rehabilitation
- A student with a significant disability whose goal is to seek a career in his or her academic field upon graduation
- A current fulltime student or recent graduate (within 2 years) of San Jose State University
As a client of WorkAbility IV, your responsibility is to:
- Maintain good academic standing at SJSU and with your major department
- Register with the SJSU Disability Resource Center
- Actively participate in WorkAbility IV programs and demonstrate reasonable progress in career development and employment preparation
- Demonstrate an on-going commitment to completing an internship or gaining other exposure to an employment setting prior to graduation
